Roasted chickpeas are an easy to make and nourishing snack that you can personalize with your favorite spice. It’s an effortless recipe that’s great to keep on-hand for a quick energy boost.
Chickpeas make a satisfying snack with their protein and fibre content, and using canned chix means you can always have them on hand and ready to make this easy yet impressive snack.
I used to make these with just freshly ground black pepper, but changed it up recently with Trader Joe’s Chile Lime blend and it was perfection! Spice blends are great because all the work of combining and perfecting ratios has been done. That being said, you can always add more or less flavoring or use your favorite spice mix.
Important note**To keep these from getting soggy, make sure they’re fully cooled before storing in either glass or a paper bag.
